Hi, I’m Jarno. I started out in hospitality, where I learned to work hard, stay calm under pressure and put people first. From there I moved into finance as an assistant wealth advisor, and then into IT recruitment, first at ABN AMRO and now as a recruiter at Sogeti (part of Capgemini) in Groningen, where I help young IT professionals find their place.

Right now I’m following the pre-master for the MSc in Management at Nyenrode Business University, where I also tutor fellow students in economics and finance. After graduating, I’m looking for my dream job: a role where people, business and numbers come together.

Outside work and study you’ll often find me on the water: I row a lot and I’m aiming to join the board of rowing association Het Galjoen. I also love reading, psychology and following the stock market.
